i've noticed while rereading the series that a few times (between books 1-14) ann writes the girls saying they "make pretty much money" instead of writing say, "a lot of money" or similar. April Fool's Day reminds me of "Claudia and the Bad Joke" and "Karen's Big Joke". Has anybody ever pulled any of the jokes mentioned? Has anybody,like Claudia, gotten hurt because of a joke?

by the fact that the Dawn/Stacey storyline is so similar. I'm rereading ALL the books (and completing my collection), and I am just finishing up 28, Welcome Back Stacey. Anyway, I'm frustrated by how similar the whole thing is to Dawn's 23 predicament. I guess those books were easy to write....

I'd been wanting to read Here Come the Bridesmaids for ages.  It's the last Super Special I hadn't read, and I really like Carol, and usually I like Dawn.  But UGH.  The best plot was Mr. Schafer's wedding and Dawn's/Jeff's reactions to it, and even that wasn't great.  The C plot of Jessi playing Santa Claus was SO boring; the eleven-year-old ( Read more... )
